Border Collies love to chew!

All puppies chew on things they are not supposed to. I think it is safe to assume that much is certain. My experience with our Border Collie puppy taught me that this breed is no exception. In fact our Border Collie puppy seemed to chew on everything in house, including our fingers. His favorite targets were shoes, of course, and more specifically flip-flops. Continue Reading »

Border Collies are very sensitive dogs

I’ve always maintained that hitting or yelling at a dog in anger does very little good to correct behaviors. When it comes to training or correcting a bad behavior positive reinforcement and an even keel are the way to go. When dealing with a Border Collie I would say this is doubly true. Crate Training your Border Collie
